Our Steel Fire-Rated Partitions are rigorously tested, ranging from E30 (30/0) to EI60 (60/60)*, ensuring fire protection without compromising on style and design.
System Options:
- Single Glazed - Available with glass-to-glass butt joints or steel mullions.
- Double Glazed - Enhanced durability with integrated steel mullions.
- Fire-Rated Glass Doors - Single and double door options with a variety of ironmongery finishes.
Fire Ratings and Performance:
Our steel fire screens have been tested to:
- E30 (30/0) – Integrity only
- EI30 (30/30) – Integrity and Insulation
- E60 (60/0) – Integrity only
- EI60 (60/60) – Integrity and Insulation

What do we mean by Integrity and Insulation:
In fire-rated glazing, Integrity (E) and Insulation (I) are two key performance criteria that determine how fire-resistant glazing performs in a fire**
1. Integrity (E) – Containment of Flames and Smoke
- Measures how long the glass can prevent the passage of flames
- The fire screen must remain in place without allowing fire to spread.
2. Insulation (I) – Heat Transfer Prevention
- Measures how well the glass prevents heat transfer from one side to the other.
- Protects people and objects on the non-fire side from dangerous radiant heat.
Example of Fire Ratings:
- E30 → 30 minutes of integrity (stops flames but not heat).
- EI30 → 30 minutes of integrity and insulation (stops flames and limits heat transfer).
